Privacy policy

This policy explains what information TapQuote ("we") collects when you use the TapQuote mobile apps and website, and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account and business profile: name, email, phone, business name, address, license number and logo.
• Job content you create: photos, voice memos and their transcripts, notes, quotes and line items.
• Customer details you enter: names, phone numbers, emails and job addresses.
• Payment setup: your Stripe account connection. Card details entered by your customers are handled by Stripe and never stored by us.
• Device and usage data: app version, crash reports and basic analytics.

How we use it

To provide the app: building estimates, generating branded quotes, sending quote links, tracking quote status and processing deposits through your Stripe account. Photos and voice memos are processed by an AI provider solely to produce your estimate and transcript.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers that run the app (hosting, AI processing, Stripe for payments, email and SMS delivery), and when required by law.

Your customers' data

You control the customer information you enter. Quote links are private and unguessable; drafts are never visible to customers.

Retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete individual records anytime, or delete your account from the app's Profile screen, which removes your data within 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, job photos are stored privately and shown only through short-lived links, and access is restricted to your account.

Children

TapQuote is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16.
